MONINCOCovid immunity monitoring: Study on Covid immunity in the working populationThe purpose of this project is to study the immunity acquired both by the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines and by suffering from the disease, in the working population. One of its initial objectives has been to seek answers and, above all, evidence that will help to give the best advice and specialised support to its client companies and to their workers to whom we give preventive protection, advice and help in the implementation and development of their different Occupational Risk Prevention plans.Likewise, an effort has been made to establish the duration of coverage of acquired immunity against a possible reinfection and, therefore, the interdose revaccination time.
PREVEN - DIMEPrevention of Diabetes Mellitus and Metabolic Syndrome: Study on insulin resistance as a risk factor for the prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitis and metabolic syndrome in a working populationDiabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease that carries a high rate of morbidity and mortality, which is highly underdiagnosed and which is associated with Metabolic Syndrome and, through both, with an increase in cardiovascular risk.At present, diabetes mellitus is one of the main health problems worldwide, both because of its high prevalence and because it is a risk factor for numerous pathologies that are of great significance and morbidity and mortality, such as cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cerebrovascular disease, as well as neurological damage, involvement of the renal system, diseases of the eyes, mouth (gums and teeth), sexual and bladder problems, wounds and torpid ulcers... among others.The purpose of this project is to find out the prevalence of both conditions in the Spanish working population and to establish a "new parameter" that helps us improve the current underdiagnosis of these processes and, with it, the prevention of their consequences.
PREGENETIC – CardioEarly detection of cardiovascular diseases of genetic origin in an apparently healthy working population.
In this project, hereditary cardiovascular diseases such as: cardiomyopathies, channelopathies, aortopathies, familial hypercholesterolemia and other lipid disorders, which have a genetic origin, will be studied in the Spanish working population.Hereditary cardiovascular diseases are a series of diseases that affect the structures of the heart and blood vessels and are of genetic origin. They are pathologies of monogenic cause in which a single causal mutation in a gene is sufficient for the disease to be expressed in the individual.Based on this knowledge, preventive criteria will be established to reduce the risk and morbidity and mortality of these processes.
